Complex, multi-function sites — from $9,500. Serious, professionaly-coded, commercial web sites with unique capabilites are generally in the range from $10,000 to $75,000, although there is no upper limit. Some sites on the web today cost in the millions.

E-commerce sites with custom, interactive

features — from $5000. Smaller sites focusing on a few complex capabilities are frequently in the range of $5000 to $10,000.

Basic informational sites with few additional functions can fall in the range of $2500 to $5000. Small E-commerce sites — from $3500, sites with content management/database requirements — from $3500, and presentation sites with contact forms and custom graphics — from $2495.

Fabulous Restaurant Web Site at a Fraction of its Cost!

If you are in the restaurant business you are familiar with The Tavern On The Green, the famous New York restaurant that was a major tourist attraction and landmark in Central Park for a century. It was one of the highest-grossing restaurants in the world.

In 2008 The Tavern awarded Sidereal Designs the contract to totally rebuild their web presence, including a complex, real-time interface to their reservation system. This major web development effort was near completion in 2009 when, unexpectedly, The Tavern failed in its bid to renegotiate its 100-year lease with the city and the location went to another bidder. The Tavern was plunged into bankruptcy, leaving Sidereal in possession of the almost-completed web site.

We are now offering to re-develop this site for the needs of a new owner. It is well-suited to any major dining establishment, or even a similar business model, and could be reworked with new images and text at a fraction of the cost of an equivalent, full-scale web site development. The site includes lavish use of image material, a feature-rich, flash-based navigation system, on-line reservation system with special and recurring event handling, interface to the RSVIP restaurant reservations management software system (http://www.jcrsystems.com/rsvip.htm ,) a hierarchical site administration system providing compartmentalized control authority for various departments such as wine, bakery, gift shop, menu, calendar, etc., and e-commerce capability for both on-line store and reservations. The reservation facilities feature many complex functions such as allowing a third party to order and pay for special wines or cakes as add-ons to a wedding party’s reservation.
